RideTech's TruTurn steering system (12289599) adds 2-inch drop steel spindles to lower the front end while correcting bump steer on early Camaro and Nova chassis. This version is the most complete of the TruTurn steering kits here: it includes a front sway bar measuring 1.125 inches, plus a center link, pitman arm, and idler arm, alongside tubular steel control arms finished in black. Tie rod sleeves are not included, though inner and outer tie rod ends are.

Before you order
The 2-inch drop spindles lower ride height as part of correcting the suspension geometry, so factor that stance change into your plans if you want to keep the car closer to stock height. No welding is required, and shocks or coilovers are not part of this package, so budget for those separately. An alignment afterward is a good idea with this kit as with other steering upgrades.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
