The Detroit Speed DECAlink (041740-SRDS) swaps a solid rear axle for an independent rear suspension, built around forged aluminum uprights, a two-piece cast aluminum and steel cradle, and modern CV axle shafts so suspension loads don't pass through the axle shafts themselves. It's engineered around a 17-spline differential assembly.
What's included
- IRS cradle, uprights, and CV axle shafts, 17-spline
- Adjustable coilover shocks with a remote reservoir, 550 lbs./in. springs, black finish
- Double-adjustable upper and lower trailing arms, with trailing arm mount braces
- Adjustable rear anti-roll bar
- Black rubber bushings and a spanner tool for ride height adjustment
Fitment and what's left out
Built to work with the OEM 17-spline differential assembly and compatible with a Hammerhead 12-bolt differential; a Watts link, panhard bar, rotors, calipers, and mounting hardware aren't part of this kit. Because it replaces the whole rear suspension system rather than a single component, plan for a full rear-end installation rather than a quick swap.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
