Details & Inspection Notes
FBF035-R is UMI's Stage 3.5 package built for A-Body muscle cars, pairing a 1" front lowering spring with a 1.313" front sway bar, the largest diameter in this lineup, and a tubular, adjustable rear sway bar. Front shocks are RideTech HQ adjustable coilovers, while the rear runs a gas-charged adjustable monotube shock instead of a matching coilover.
What's in the kit
Front control arms and the rear lower control arm are tubular steel on Delrin bushings, and the rear upper control arm adds a roto-joint for adjustability, with tubular frame braces and Grade 8 hardware rounding out the package. UMI's notes pair 650 lbs. front coilover springs with a 2 in. drop, 175 lbs. rear leaf spring, so the front and rear ends are tuned differently by design.
Common questions
Does the rear keep leaf springs? Yes, this kit pairs a front coilover conversion with a rear leaf spring rated for a 2 in. drop.
Is the rear sway bar adjustable? Yes, UMI lists it as a tubular, adjustable rear sway bar.
