Details & Inspection Notes
Stage 2.5 kit ABF804-1-B moves up from the fixed-spring Stage 2 kits with adjustable coilovers front and rear that drop ride height from stock down to roughly 2" lower. UMI builds this one around GM vehicles running the stock GM axle housing; an aftermarket rear axle housing may not line up with the rear coilover mounts.
What to check before buying
Front and rear sway bars measure 1.250" and 1.000" respectively, and the tubular control arms ride on a mix of polyurethane and Delrin bushings rather than polyurethane alone. A chassis stiffener is included, though subframe connectors are not, so check whether your car already has those if you're chasing extra chassis rigidity.
Common questions
How much lower will my car sit? The coilovers let you dial in anywhere from stock height down to about 2" lower.
Will this fit an aftermarket rear axle? UMI engineers the rear coilover mounts around the stock GM axle housing, so an aftermarket housing may need extra fitment work.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
