Stepping up from UMI's entry packages, this Stage 3.5 kit (ABF806-1-B) swaps in a rebound-adjustable monotube shock so damping can be dialed in after the 68-72 A-Body is back on the road, rather than locked to one setting. Spring rate holds at 530 lb/in with the same 1-inch drop at both ends, but Delrin bushings and caster-corrected geometry join the front control arms, while the rear trailing arms move to Roto-Joints with adjustable uppers for dialing in pinion angle. A solid 1.25-inch bar handles front sway, a black-finished solid 1-inch bar covers the rear, and a chassis stiffener rounds out the package.

Rebound adjustment is the headline upgrade here compared with UMI's Stage 2 package, letting you tune ride feel instead of accepting a single valve setting. Ride height still comes down 1 inch at both ends, so the same clearance checks that matter for UMI's other A-Body kits apply to this one too.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
