Unlike the coilover-based 4-Bar kits in Scott's Hot Rods lineup, this M-42-14-PT kit comes with Firestone 9000 air springs installed as standard equipment, paired with single-adjustable shocks, while coilovers are only available here as a separate option. It is also the only 4-Bar kit in this lineup built with a sway bar already on it. Both the panhard bar and the trailing arms adjust at two points apiece, and like some of Scott's coilover-based kits, this one uses a 4-inch axle bracket offset for a higher stance.

Before you order
Anyone wanting coilovers instead of air springs should note they are not standard here; Scott's sells a coilover version of this kit separately. No welding goes into the direct bolt-on installation, and the higher-stance offset built into this kit's axle bracket is worth weighing against your plans beforehand. Rotors and calipers stay outside the box.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
