Details & Inspection Notes
RideTech's TruTurn system for the S10 front end does not change ride height on its own; it is a stock-height, IFS control-arm package meant to fix bump steer and camber gain issues while leaving the ride height adjustment to coilovers or OEM-style drop spindles added separately. Spindles are not included, but the kit is designed to integrate with the factory Chevy/GM spindle rather than requiring a dropped one.
What it fixes
Taller upper ball joints reposition the control arm geometry so camber gain works in the car's favor during cornering, with the design holding bump steer to roughly 0.065 inch across 5 inches of suspension travel and opening up clearance for tires as wide as 275 millimeters. Steering components are part of the kit, while shocks are not.
What comes with it
The core of the system is a set of upper and lower tubular StrongArms, finished powder coated, along with outer tie rods and the billet adjusters that go with them, and none of it calls for a welder to install.
What to check before buying
This kit is built around the factory Chevy/GM spindle rather than a dropped one, so confirm your truck still runs that stock spindle style before ordering.
Does this include shocks or coilovers? No, those are sold separately; this is the control arm and steering package.
Does it lower the truck by itself? No, ride height change comes from the coilovers or drop spindles paired with it, not from this kit alone.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
