Details & Inspection Notes
Where RideTech's coil-over kit for the 1973-74 Nova uses steel coil-over springs, this version swaps in front and rear HQ Series ShockWaves, RideTech's air-spring shock, on the same Corvette hub spindles and bolt-on 4-link rear setup. A front sway bar is also part of the package.
What to check before buying
Because ShockWaves are air springs rather than steel coils, this kit needs an air source to actually hold ride height, so plan on adding a RideTech compressor and control system if one is not already on the car; it is not included here. Corvette hub spindles mean the stock Nova spindle and its matching brake parts are being replaced, so plan your brake setup around that hub.
What comes with it
Front upper and lower StrongArms, caliper brackets sized for the Corvette hub, the bolt-on 4-link rear hardware, and the front sway bar all ship together as one package rather than piece by piece.
Is a compressor included? No, ShockWaves need an air source, which is sold separately.
Does this use the stock Nova spindle? No, it runs on Corvette hub spindles with included caliper brackets.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
