This RideTech kit is the hub-spindle version of its HQ air suspension system for 1968-1972 GM A-Body cars; RideTech describes that platform as covering the Chevelle, El Camino, GTO, and Cutlass, plus other GM A-Body models those manufacturers built in that span. Instead of stock-style spindles, it runs on Corvette hubs, pulled from the C5, C6, or C7, which brings C5/C6 Corvette brake compatibility along with it.
What to check before buying
The hubs themselves are not part of this kit, so source C5, C6, or C7 Corvette hubs separately, and make sure your wheels clear at least 17 inches in diameter. This is a suspension-only package: no air compressor or ride-height controller ships with it, so a RidePro compressor system still needs to be added to actually run the air springs.
What comes with it
The box rounds out with ShockWaves at all four corners, tall-spindle StrongArms up front, caliper brackets for the Corvette brake setup, and a pair of sway bars, one front and one rear. The upper StrongArms use Delrin bushings blended with Teflon and relocated ball joints for extra caster; the lower arms use a double-sheer mount with the same Delrin and Teflon bushings.
Does it include the compressor? No, an additional RidePro compressor system is needed to operate the air springs.
Are the Corvette hubs included? No, only the caliper brackets for them; the hubs are sourced separately.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
