Details & Inspection Notes
The HK33-GMF2 handling kit from QA1 builds around chromoly tubular upper and lower control arms, powdercoated black, paired with a single 1.375-inch hollow front sway bar; there is no rear sway bar, trailing arm, or panhard bar in this particular package. Coil springs and shocks are left out too, so this is a control-arm-and-sway-bar upgrade rather than a full suspension swap.
Who it suits
QA1 built this for small block and LS-powered vehicles still on stock trim, where the goal is tighter control arm geometry up front without touching the rear end. Bushings are polyurethane over steel, and mounting hardware ships with the kit.
What to check before buying
Since neither a rear sway bar nor trailing arms are part of this box, pair it with QA1's other rear-end pieces if matching geometry back there is the goal. Installation is bolt-on with no welding called for.
Is there a rear sway bar in this kit? No, this package only supplies a front sway bar.
Do I need new control arm bushings? No, the polyurethane-and-steel bushings come already fitted to the control arms.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
