Details & Inspection Notes
The QA1 Level 3 HK13-GMF3 handling kit leaves springs and shocks out of the box on purpose, since it pairs with QA1 coilovers chosen separately, and instead focuses on the rear geometry pieces: an adjustable panhard bar and an adjustable torque arm. Front and rear sway bars are hollow at 1.375 inches and solid at 1.000 inch.
Who it suits
This kit targets small block and LS-powered vehicles still on their stock trim, where tubular lower trailing arms and relocation brackets correct rear axle geometry. The lower control arms are tubular steel, and tie rod adjuster sleeves tighten up steering response, all running on polyurethane bushings.
What comes with it
A ball joint tool ships with the kit to help with suspension alignment during install, and the parts install at the stock mounting locations without any welding.
Common questions
Does this include shocks? No, shocks are sold separately; this kit is designed to work with QA1 coilovers.
Is the torque arm fixed or adjustable? It is adjustable, along with the panhard bar.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
