Details & Inspection Notes
QA1's R256-170 pairs a 170 lbs./in. coilover spring with a double adjustable rear shock rather than a single adjustable one, giving separate control over compression and rebound instead of one combined dial. QA1 still runs double adjustable upper arms and single adjustable lowers through the trailing arm linkage, in the same black powdercoat as the rest of this four-link family, and still calls for welding to install.
What to check before buying
That extra shock adjustability matters more to someone tuning for track days than to a buyer just after a ride-height change, so weigh whether the finer control is worth it for your build. A spanner wrench ships with the coilover.
What comes with it
Spherical bearing bushings and trailing arm mount braces come with the kit, along with mounting hardware for the trailing arms and shocks; QA1 does not include a sway bar, watts link, panhard bar, or brake parts in this package.
Can I adjust compression and rebound separately? Yes, the double adjustable rear shock on this kit allows that; QA1's single adjustable four-link kit does not.
Is this a bolt-in kit? No, QA1 lists welding as required for this four-link conversion.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
