QA1's DM501-12110 Pro-Rear System is a universal-fit rear coilover setup for 3.000 in. diameter axles, using double adjustable MOD series shocks with a 110 lbs. linear-rate spring and a stated 576 valving selections for compression and rebound. Unlike QA1's bolt-on coilover conversions for specific trucks, welding is part of fitting this one.
Fitment and fabrication
The kit includes a 1.625 in. O.D., 0.095 in. wall, 40.000 in. long weld-in tube, so plan for fabrication rather than a bolt-in afternoon. QA1 lists a suspension height adjustment of 0.0 to 1.5 in. lowered and a recommended rear end weight of 1,050-1,300 lbs. for this spring rate.
What comes with it
The shock bodies are aluminum, finished silver powdercoated, with a compressed length of 11.5 in. and an extended length of 16.88 in.; bushings are a natural-color spherical bearing at both the upper and lower mounts, and all mounting hardware is included.
Is this a bolt-on kit? No, QA1 lists welding as required to fit the weld-in tube that comes with it.
What rear end weight is this spring rate built for? QA1 recommends a rear end weight of 1,050-1,300 lbs. with the 110 lbs. spring supplied.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
