PSC's FHK400P is another full hydraulic steering system for Dana 60 axles and tires up to 44 inches, built around a double-ended steering cylinder.
Cylinder specifications
This cylinder measures a 2.750-inch bore with a 1.50-inch shaft diameter and 8.000 inches of travel, paired with an orbital control valve for steering control and a P-series steering pump for pressure.
What's in the box
Braided steel high-pressure hoses and heavy-duty steel fittings carry the hydraulic pressure, and mounting brackets and hardware come along with the kit. There is no separate steering box in this system, since the pump and cylinder take over that job directly.
Installation
Welding is required for the steering stub collars and some of the mounting brackets, so this is not a simple bolt-on swap; budget for welding work or a shop that can handle it.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
