PSC's FHK400JK-1 is a full hydraulic steering system built for vehicles running Dana 60 axles and tires up to 44 inches, replacing the stock steering box entirely with a hydraulic cylinder and orbital control valve.
What "full hydraulic" means
Unlike a hydraulic-assist kit that keeps the factory steering gear, this system has no steering box in the loop; a steering pump and cylinder do the work through the orbital valve. That setup gives quick-ratio steering, which is why use on paved roads should stay limited compared with an assist-type system.
What's in the kit
The kit includes the steering pump, the cylinder, braided nylon high-pressure hoses in black, aluminum fittings in a natural finish, and mounting brackets with hardware. A steering box is not part of this kit, since the system does not use one.
Install notes
Some of the mounting brackets and steering stub collars need to be welded in for a proper fit, so plan on welding capability or a shop that can do it rather than treating this as a pure bolt-on. It fits vehicles running Dana 60 axles and handles tires up to 44 inches.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
