The Heidts RN-101-B bolt-in 4-link kit is built for 1960s and 1970s muscle cars and, unlike some of Heidts' other 4-link packages, adds subframe connectors and axle brackets to the usual mix of adjustable trailing arms, a panhard bar, and coilover shocks.
What's included
Adjustable upper and lower trailing-arm mounts, a crossmember, pre-positioned shock mounts, rod ends, and standard black coilover shocks all come in the kit, along with axle brackets to anchor everything to the differential and subframe connectors to cut down on chassis flex. It does not include a diagonal link or wheelie-bar mounts.
What to check before installing
This version is listed as needing no welding, so it is meant to go in as a bolt-on package without cutting the floor; natural-finish steel tubing runs throughout. Because it is sold across a broad range of 1960s and 1970s muscle cars rather than one named model, confirm the differential width and floor clearance for your specific car before ordering.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
