This remote-reservoir bypass shock, part 883-26-077, comes from Fox Racing Shox's 3.0 Factory Race Series and uses a 3.000 in. body diameter with a three-tube bypass design aimed at desert racing, rock crawling, and other extreme off-road use.
What makes it tunable
Separate adjusters handle compression, rebound, and bleed circuits, letting the damping curve be tuned for different terrain and speed, and the remote reservoir helps dissipate heat during sustained hard use. It is built with a 17-4 H900 stainless steel shaft, hard-chrome plated, a seamless zinc-plated steel body, and PTFE-lined spherical bearing bushings at the eyelet mounts on both ends.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist
- Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
- Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
- Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
- Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
