Details & Inspection Notes

BMR's torque arm suspension kit (TAS006H) replaces the rear leaf springs with a torque arm, adjustable control arms, and a custom upper crossmember, aiming for lateral stability under acceleration and suspension travel that stays centered rather than binding. The torque arm itself allows pinion angle adjustment, and the control arms have several mounting holes arranged in an arc for dialing in anti-squat.

What's included

The kit ships with black hammertone powdercoated components, black polyurethane bushings, and an adjustable lower trailing arm. Per the listing notes, it also includes a billet Watts link locating device, machined from 6061 aluminum with greasable, internally fluted Delrin bushings, to keep the axle centered side to side. Coilover shocks and springs aren't included, and the spring rate needs to be specified when ordering.

Fitment

This kit is built to fit only vehicles with a 10-bolt rear end, so confirm that before buying. Because it's fully adjustable rather than fixed, a shop can set up the geometry for a street car or a dedicated track car from the same hardware.

Do I need to order shocks separately? Yes, coilover shocks and springs aren't part of this kit.

Will this fit any rear end? No, it's built for 10-bolt rear ends only.

Suspension Setup & Installation Checklist

  • Inspect top mounts, damper seals, bushings, and ball joints prior to fitment.
  • Set initial spring preload, collar heights, and damper rebound clicks symmetrically left to right.
  • Torque all suspension control arm pivot bolts while the vehicle is at resting ride height (loaded suspension).
  • Perform a complete 4-wheel laser alignment once ride height has settled to ensure optimal handling and tire wear.
