Details & Inspection Notes
Built specifically for USMTS Modified competition, this 414 cubic-inch small-block Chevy starts with a Dart SHP block and CNC-ported Brodix-spec heads, feeding an Edelbrock Super Victor intake through a valvetrain of Manley titanium valves and springs with titanium retainers, locators, and locks.
Rotating assembly and valvetrain
Diamond pistons and Total Seal rings run on a Scat crankshaft held by ARP studs, with Callies Ultra connecting rods between them. An Isky roller lifter set rides a custom roller camshaft, an ATI balancer controls harmonics, and an MSD distributor handles spark. For lubrication and cooling, a Melling Shark unit pumps the oil through a Moroso-brand pan, while an Edelbrock Victor pump circulates coolant.
Before you order
Every engine in this build is dyno verified, ships with its own individual dyno sheet, and has lash and timing tuned by hand rather than set to a blanket number, with piston rings seated through the shop's own dyno break-in program before it leaves. A carburetor is shown fitted for that dyno session; confirm with us whether one ships with your particular engine before ordering, since this listing does not spell that detail out.
Common questions

What heads does it use? CNC-ported, Brodix-spec aluminum heads are fitted at the factory.
What valves are used? Manley titanium valves and springs, with titanium retainers, locators, and locks.
