Details & Inspection Notes
The Toro Power Clear 721 QZE runs the same 212cc OHV engine, 21-inch intake, and 35-foot throw distance found elsewhere in Toro's 721 single-stage family, but swaps the usual manual chute adjustment for a quick-shoot trigger.
A trigger instead of reaching for the chute
Squeezing a trigger to redirect the chute means you never take a hand off the controls or break your pace to make the adjustment, which is the main difference this model offers over the plain manual-chute versions on the same engine and width. Electric start still handles the cold-weather starting without a pull cord.
A bigger tank for longer runs
This configuration carries a .56-gallon fuel tank, larger than the manual-chute 721 models, which stretches run time between fill-ups while the 212cc engine keeps sending snow out to 35 feet from a 21-inch auger.
Who benefits most from the trigger
Anyone clearing an uneven path with obstacles - a walkway that bends around a flower bed, or a driveway next to parked cars - benefits most from a trigger that redirects the chute instantly rather than one requiring a stop to crank or push an adjustment by hand.
How is the chute adjusted on the QZE? With a quick-shoot trigger rather than a manual crank or push adjustment.
What is the maximum throw distance? Up to 35 feet.
New, model 38756, with Toro's 2-year consumer warranty.
What colour is it? It comes in the factory red and black finish.
