Details & Inspection Notes

White-cowled and counter-rotating: the BF250DXCDA WT combines Honda's Grand Prix White finish with a counter-rotation lower unit on the 25-inch-shaft 250 HP iST platform, a 3583cc six-cylinder four-stroke at 617 pounds. New.

Built for twin, matched-color rigs

Operators running paired white outboards on a twin transom use this as the counter-rotating partner to a standard-rotation white iST 250, so the two propellers turn opposite directions and cancel out steering pull under power. Drive-by-wire shift and throttle, EFI induction across the rev range, and a 5300-6300 rpm full-throttle ceiling carry over from the rest of the iST family built on this block, and the counter-rotating gearcase is sized to match the standard-rotation partner engine.

What to confirm before ordering

Check that the partner engine on the other side of the transom runs standard rotation rather than a second counter-rotating unit, and that the 25-inch shaft matches the transom height. The white finish is cosmetic only and changes nothing about how the counter-rotating gearcase performs or shifts.

Standard equipment

Rounding out the package: the counter-rotation lower unit, white cowling panels, onboard charging, a freshwater flush fitting, helm-controlled power trim and tilt, and a printed owner's manual.

Five-year factory coverage applies, and the propeller is purchased separately, matched to the counter-rotating gearcase.
