Details & Inspection Notes
Take the counter-rotation BF200DXCRA and finish it in white cowlings instead of Honda's standard color, and the result is the DXCRA WT: the identical 613-pound weight, 25-inch shaft, remote mechanical steering, and electric-start 3583cc EFI six-cylinder as the standard-color version, with the same 5000-to-6000 rpm full-throttle band.
What the cowling swap does and doesn't change
Only the finish differs from a standard-color counter-rotation motor; the lower unit still spins the propeller opposite to Honda's regular gearing, which matters most on a twin-engine rig pairing two opposite-turning props. Confirm with us that your boat's rigging calls for counter rotation before ordering, since standard and counter-rotation lower units are not interchangeable.
What's in the box
In the crate: the white cowling panels and the owner's manual, alongside the charging system, a switch-run trim-and-tilt setup, and a cooling-system flush fitting for fresh water. Sourcing a propeller that matches this gearing is on you.
Care to plan for
White cowlings show dirt and exhaust staining more readily than Honda's standard finish, so a quick rinse after each outing keeps the look fresh, alongside flushing the cooling system with fresh water after any run in saltwater. A break-in period before regular full-throttle running is worth the patience on any new motor.
Does the white finish change anything mechanical? No. Does it steer with a tiller? No, remote mechanical.
