Details & Inspection Notes
The 2X 30 HP widens the wheeled 2X formula to 30 inches, turning a 357cc engine, X-Trac tires sized at 16 inches, and a crank-operated steel discharge chute.
Wheeled and straightforward
Next to track or fuel-injected versions at this width, the HP model is the simpler wheeled option: X-Trac tires for grip, a steel discharge chute, and a standard carbureted engine running power through a friction disc and heavy-duty cast-aluminum gear box.
Seeing in low light
Dual LED headlights handle the dim hours, and a steering trigger at each handle pairs with standard electric start for cold starts.
Loading for a service run
Because this model is wheeled rather than tracked, it's generally the easier of the two to roll onto a trailer or into a tight storage spot without a ramp, which matters if service runs or off-season storage mean lifting it into place by hand. A short tow strap and a helper make that job easier on a machine this size.
How does this compare to track or EFI versions at this width? Same engine size, but wheels and tires instead of tracks, and a carbureted rather than fuel-injected engine.
Does it have heated handgrips? No, that comfort feature is specific to the MAX version at this width, not the HP.
Tank, model, coverage? 1.25 gallons, model 31AH5DVU710, 3-year consumer warranty, new.
What colour is it? It comes in the factory yellow and black finish.
Equipment Commissioning & Pre-Start Checklist
- Check engine oil, hydraulic fluid, and coolant levels to manufacturer-specified dipstick/sight-glass marks.
- Inspect fuel shut-off valve, air filter element, and hydraulic hose fittings for secure connections.
- Verify all safety pins, locks, hydraulic couplers, and guards are secured before starting.
- Allow a 3–5 minute warm-up period at low idle to circulate lubricants and hydraulic oil prior to applying load.
