Details & Inspection Notes
The 2X 26 HP is a wheeled two-stage machine running a 243cc engine, 16-inch X-Trac tires for grip, and a steel discharge chute, sized to a 26-inch width.
Wheels with traction tires
X-Trac tires recover some of the grip a plain wheeled machine loses on packed snow, without the cost or complexity of a track undercarriage. Steering triggers at the handles pivot the wheels independently, while an engine-driven friction disc feeds power into a heavy-duty cast-aluminum gear box built for regular two-stage duty.
Seeing the path ahead
Dual LED headlights cover low-light clearing before sunrise or after dark, with electric start standard for cold mornings.
Storage access
Wheeled machines with X-Trac tires are generally easier to roll through a narrow side gate than a tracked model of similar width, worth considering if storage is around the side of a house rather than in a garage facing the driveway. That same wheeled setup also tends to be lighter to push by hand over a short distance without starting the engine.
How does this compare to the tracked 26-inch model? Similar width and engine class, but wheels and tires instead of a track undercarriage.
What turns the discharge chute? An overhead crank operated by hand from the handles.
Tank, model, coverage? .5 gallons, model 31AM5CVS710, 3-year consumer warranty, new.
What colour is it? It comes in the factory yellow and black finish.
Equipment Commissioning & Pre-Start Checklist
- Check engine oil, hydraulic fluid, and coolant levels to manufacturer-specified dipstick/sight-glass marks.
- Inspect fuel shut-off valve, air filter element, and hydraulic hose fittings for secure connections.
- Verify all safety pins, locks, hydraulic couplers, and guards are secured before starting.
- Allow a 3–5 minute warm-up period at low idle to circulate lubricants and hydraulic oil prior to applying load.
