BluePrint PS4272CTC1 SBC 427 Pro Carb Base Dressed Engine 540HP

BluePrint's PS4272CTC1 is a new 427 cubic inch small-block Chevy built for serious street and strip use, producing 540 horsepower and 535 ft-lbs of torque with aluminum cylinder heads and a hydraulic roller camshaft. It arrives base dressed and carbureted rather than as a bare long block.

Bottom end and heads

Inside is a forged crankshaft and forged 6.000-inch connecting rods swinging forged pistons, balanced both internally and externally, in a high-strength cast iron block with a 4-bolt main and a 1-piece rear main seal. The BluePrint HP8103 aluminum heads use 64cc chambers with 2.08-inch intake and 1.60-inch exhaust valves feeding 220cc intake and 67cc exhaust runners. Intake duration runs 240 degrees and exhaust duration 248 degrees on a 112-degree lobe separation.

What ships on the engine

A Holley 850 cfm double-pumper carburetor with manual choke, a Pro Series ready-run distributor, an intake manifold, valve covers, spark plugs and wires, a harmonic balancer, a timing cover, and an oil pan are all installed before it leaves the shop, giving you a GM small-block-compatible 427 that is ready to drop in and fire.
