Details & Inspection Notes
This BluePrint 350 is a bare long block rather than a dressed, ready-to-run engine: a dyno-tested 390-horsepower, 410 lb-ft small-block Chevy-style assembly with aluminum heads, a hydraulic roller camshaft, and a cast iron crankshaft, but without an intake manifold, distributor, water pump, or balancer.
Who this suits
It suits a builder who already owns, or wants to source separately, the induction, ignition, cooling, and front accessory hardware for a 350 build, rather than paying for a complete dressed package. Compression is 9.2:1, and BluePrint ships dyno results with the engine so you can see the figures it actually pulled on its own dyno.
What to check before ordering
Because this is a long block only, confirm what you still need to add: an intake manifold, carburetor or EFI system, distributor, water pump, harmonic balancer, flexplate or flywheel, and the front accessory drive are all on your side of the build, not included here. Since this is not a direct factory replacement, California buyers need to satisfy the Bureau of Automotive Repairs engine-change policy when installing it.
Common questions
Does it come with a warranty? Yes, BluePrint backs this engine with a 30-month, 50,000-mile warranty.
Is it assembled? Yes, the long block itself is fully assembled; what is missing is everything outside the block, heads, and internals.
Does it include valve covers and an oil pan? Yes, along with the timing cover; those three items are included even though the induction and ignition systems are not.
