Details & Inspection Notes
Built for a 6-71 or 8-71 Roots-style blower setup, this Weiand supercharger manifold fits Chevrolet big-block engines in the 396-502 cubic inch range, cast in precision-machined aluminum as a dual-plane, standard-deck piece with a satin finish and rectangle-port flange.
What's built in
A pop-off plate is mounted at the rear, and a port for a boost gauge is already in place. Deck height is 9.8 in., and it suits rectangle- or oval-port heads; Fel-Pro gasket 1251 is required when it's installed on oval-port heads.
Before you order
This part carries an emissions designation limiting its legal use to uncontrolled, non-emissions vehicles only: U.S.-built cars certified in California in 1965 or earlier, U.S.-built cars federally certified in 1967 or earlier, and foreign-built cars from 1967 or earlier. Putting it on a newer vehicle that's subject to emissions control is unlawful, so check your vehicle's emissions status and your blower plans against that before buying.
Common questions
Does it come with a boost gauge? It includes the port for one, not the gauge itself.
Will it fit oval-port heads? Yes, with Fel-Pro gasket 1251, which is required for that head style.
