Built specifically for compressed natural gas applications, this VEGE long block remanufactures a 5.7L (350 cubic-inch) V8 with reinforced valve seats and upgraded parts to cope with the higher combustion temperatures CNG fuel brings.
What's rebuilt
The block is machined and tested, and the cylinder heads are reconditioned specifically around high-compression CNG operation; a new oil pump and matching gasket set are part of the sale. A water pump is not part of this package, nor are the valve covers, oil pan, timing cover, or intake manifold, so plan on moving those over from your old engine or sourcing them new.

Expect to find this displacement in CNG-converted fleet and commercial work trucks rather than a standard gasoline application, so confirm your vehicle runs the CNG-specific version before ordering, not a regular 350.
