Details & Inspection Notes

This factory computer runs the non-VVTi 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo platform and is built for Aristo JZS147 applications and select MKIV Supra swaps running the automatic transmission. It's a used, tested JDM import suited to restorations, OEM-plus builds, or returning a modified engine to a reliable stock baseline.

What it controls

This non-VVTi ECU runs the factory calibration for stock injectors, the twin turbos, the MAF/MAP sensors and automatic transmission control, offering a straightforward way to restore smooth idle, correct shift quality and the factory's built-in fail-safes before moving on to a piggyback or standalone engine management system.

Fitment to check first

Confirm the part number and pinout against your own wiring harness and immobilizer before ordering, since the ECU part number varies by year and market. A JDM Aristo ECU dropped into a Supra chassis may need wiring adaptations. This unit is not for VVT-i engines (JZS161) or for a 6-speed Getrag manual transmission without additional re-engineering.

Condition and what you get

The unit is tested and working, with a basic functionality check performed prior to shipping and packaging built for international transit. Because fitment varies by year and market, confirm your part number and harness pinout with us before ordering.

Startup & Installation Checklist

  • Inspect all external gaskets, seals, spark plugs and timing components prior to installation.
  • Refill engine oil, transmission gear oil and coolant to manufacturer-specified capacities before initial cranking.
