Unlike the three-speed versions, this one is lockup compatible, and the valve body still offers automatic or manual shift control.

Fitment details

Confirm the Chevy bolt pattern fits your application, and plan driveline length around a 7.500-inch tailshaft with a 30-spline slip-on output. The input shaft is 300M material for added strength at this horsepower level, and the case is OEM-style aluminum finished in black.

What is not included

Expect to source your own torque converter, flexplate, and controller, and add a wiring harness and cooler before this unit is ready to run; fluid and a dipstick are left out as well. A shift lever is not included either, so budget for one before installation. The speedometer driven gear and its housing are also missing from the box, carrying over from your old transmission if it is the same model, or needing to be bought separately otherwise.
