Details & Inspection Notes
The TCI Super StreetFighter 211095 is a remanufactured three-speed automatic built on a Chevy bellhousing pattern, with a combination valve body that runs as a conventional automatic or shifts by hand. TCI rates it for 875 horsepower, and the forward shift pattern pairs with a 2.48 first gear for launches that stay firm whether the car is driven to the track or raced there.
Fitment and setup
Check that your application uses the Chevy bolt pattern before ordering, and plan a driveshaft or slip yoke around the 9-inch tailshaft and 30-spline output. The case is aluminum with a black finish, the pan is steel with a chrome finish, and fluid fills through the case. The unit is not set up for lockup operation, so plan the rest of the driveline with that in mind.
What ships, what does not
A torque converter, flexplate, and controller stay off the included parts list here, and a wiring harness, cooler, and trans-brake are equally left for the buyer to add. It is sold as a standalone, remanufactured unit, built individually rather than new off a factory line. No speedometer driven gear or housing rides along in the box either: carry over the one already on your vehicle when the replacement is the same model, or source a new one if it is not, along with a dipstick and fluid.
Can it be driven as a plain automatic? Yes, the valve body allows full automatic operation, and the same unit can be shifted manually when wanted.
Will I need extra parts to finish the install? Likely yes: at minimum the converter, flexplate, cooler lines, and driven gear are separate purchases unless you already own compatible ones.
