Details & Inspection Notes
Positioned between the standard StreetFighter line and full competition transmissions, this bare Super StreetFighter is rated for 750 advertised horsepower on the Mopar bellhousing pattern, among the higher ratings offered across the StreetFighter-family units in this catalog, while still carrying the automatic/manual valve body spec for everyday drivability.
Where it sits in the lineup
It's built to take more power than the standard-rated Mopar StreetFighter options while staying short of the trans-brake-equipped, full-manual competition units elsewhere in this range, aimed at drivers who want race-inspired strength without giving up the convenience of automatic operation. Twenty-four splines make up the input shaft, with a tailshaft reaching 18.375 inches and first gear landing at 2.45:1, through an OEM-style aluminum case.
What to add yourself
Manual mode shifts the instant you move the lever with no lag or governor override; Drive mode holds firm, consistent automatic shifts for daily conditions. A converter, a flexplate, a controller, and a wiring harness don't ship with it, and neither does the cooler or fluid. Plan to source a speedometer driven gear and housing on your own, since neither is part of the box. Sold individually.
Is this stronger than a standard StreetFighter? Yes, it carries one of the higher advertised ratings among the Mopar StreetFighter units here. Does it include a trans-brake? No, that's reserved for the full competition line.
