Rated for 575 advertised horsepower on the BOP bellhousing pattern, this bare StreetFighter transmission runs a 6.000-inch tailshaft, shorter than the 575-rated Chevy-pattern unit elsewhere in this lineup, on the same 30-spline input shaft.

Dual-mode valve body

Flip it to manual and gear changes land right as you move the lever, with neither lag nor governor override slowing things down; in Drive, it settles into firm, consistent shifts for daily use instead. First gear is 2.52:1; the aluminum case wears a black finish, and the pan is stock-profile steel finished chrome.

Parts to plan around

Speedometer gear and housing are each missing from the box here, so plan to buy that pair separately unless an identical old unit's parts carry over. No converter comes with it, and neither does the flexplate, controller, or harness; fluid and a dipstick are likewise on you. It is not lockup compatible.
