Built on the BOP bellhousing pattern, this StreetFighter transmission carries one of the higher ratings in the lineup at 725 advertised horsepower. Thirty splines make up the input shaft, and the tailshaft stays short, at just 4.000 inches, with a dual-mode automatic/manual valve body on top.

How the shifting works

Switch it to manual and gear changes land the moment you move the lever, skipping any lag or governor override; leave it in Drive instead and it settles into firm, positive shifts for everyday driving. First gear is 2.48:1, with a black-finished aluminum case and a chrome-finished stock-profile pan underneath.

What ships separately

Nothing beyond the transmission itself is in the box: source your own converter, flexplate, controller, harness, cooler, and fluid before install day. Expect to source the speedometer driven gear and its housing on your own as well, unless an identical old unit's parts carry over. It is not lockup compatible. Sold individually, and worth test-fitting against your crossmember, mount, and driveshaft before you call the swap finished and button everything back up.
