Details & Inspection Notes

This TCI transmission crossmember is built for 1967-1974 GM A-Body hardtops and works with any transmission in that chassis, rather than being limited to a specific gearbox. Like TCI's other crossmembers, it is steel, lighter than the factory part, powder coated, and uses a three-axis modular design that adjusts for fitment using the car's original bolt holes. Mounting hardware is included with this one.

What's included

  • Steel, powder coated transmission crossmember
  • Mounting hardware

Before you order

Confirm your A-Body is specifically a hardtop, since this crossmember is listed for that body style rather than every A-Body variant, and because it is rated for all transmissions in that chassis, you do not need to match it to a specific gearbox the way some other crossmembers require. Installation relies on the original bolt holes, so no new drilling should be necessary.
