Details & Inspection Notes
QA1's 52610-D650 is a front coilover conversion built around a double adjustable shock and a 650 lbs./in. spring rate, sized for 1963-87 Chevy C10 trucks. It supplies the lower control arms only; the kit does not include upper control arms, a rack and pinion, a crossmember, spindles, or a disc brake kit, so plan those separately if your truck needs them.
What to check before buying
QA1 specifies that the spindles on your truck need to match 1973-87 ball joints, so an earlier C10 needs the right spindle swapped in before the coilovers will bolt up, and factory sway bars are listed as incompatible with this system. Installation is bolt-on, with no welding called for.
What comes with it
The tubular lower control arms are steel, black powdercoated, and ship with the lower ball joints already in place; upper ball joints are not part of this package. QA1 sells the whole thing as one kit rather than piece by piece.
Are the upper control arms included? No, only the lower control arms and lower ball joints come with this kit.
Can I keep my factory sway bar? No, QA1 lists this system as not compatible with the factory sway bar.
