Unlike the carbureted-or-EFI-ready engines elsewhere in this lineup, the Roush 347 IRF SP (DL347IRFSPC) comes with its fuel injection system already tuned and installed, pairing a 347 cubic-inch small-block Ford with performance cylinder heads and a performance hydraulic roller camshaft for a more turnkey power delivery.
What's on the engine
Spark plug wires join the spark plugs, timing cover, valve covers, oil pan, and harmonic balancer as factory-installed items here, along with the cylinder heads and the fuel injection hardware itself. A supercharger is not part of the build, and neither are the flexplate, flywheel, exhaust manifolds, air cleaner, computer, or wiring harness, so the ECU and exhaust system are still on the builder's list.
Fitment and fuel
This small-block Ford displacement is a common fit for classic Mustangs and similar performance builds, but confirm your drivetrain and ECU setup are compatible with the installed injection system before ordering rather than assuming a direct match. Roush specifies premium fuel at 91 octane or higher for the camshaft and compression used here.

Startup & Installation Checklist

- Refill engine oil, transmission gear oil and coolant to manufacturer-specified capacities before initial cranking.
- Prime the lubrication system and verify ECU wiring pinouts, sensors, and ground connections.
