What this crate engine includes
The engine ships assembled with a high-performance hydraulic roller camshaft, a 1-piece rear main seal, and an induction system, along with the oil pan, valve covers, and timing cover installed. It does not include a carburetor, throttle body, distributor, water pump, harmonic balancer, flexplate, flywheel, air cleaner, spark plugs or wires, computer, wiring harness, or supercharger, so plan to source a fuel system, ignition, and cooling setup to finish the build.
What to check before buying
Because this is a bare, race-oriented long block rather than a turnkey engine, confirm your planned fuel injection or carburetor setup, ignition system, and tuning plan are ready before the engine arrives. Premium or race fuel at 91-octane or higher is recommended, and the engine is not emissions-certified, so it is intended for off-road, racing, or custom-build applications rather than a direct street-emissions-compliant swap.

Startup & Installation Checklist
