Details & Inspection Notes
The QA1 52620-S600 covers the same 1965-79 Ford F-100 front end as QA1's other conversion in this line, but uses a single adjustable coilover and a firmer 600 lbs./in. spring instead of a double adjustable setup. QA1 states this system saves about 150 lbs. compared with a Crown Vic-based front swap.
What to check before buying
The listed ride height range is 3 in. to 5 in. of drop on the stock-height spindles included in the box, or 5 in. to 7 in. if drop spindles are fitted instead. QA1 calls out that engine mounts are not part of this kit and must be purchased separately.
What comes with it
Along with the stock-height cast iron spindles, the kit includes tubular steel control arms finished in black, the aluminum hydraulic power-assist rack with a natural finish, and inner and outer tie rod ends.
Are engine mounts included? No, QA1 lists those as a separate purchase.
Does this require any welding? No, the whole system bolts into place.
