Details & Inspection Notes
QA1's 52620-D500 is a front end conversion for the 1965-79 Ford F-100 built around a double adjustable coilover and a 500 lbs./in. spring, paired with a hydraulic power-assist rack and pinion in aluminum with a natural finish. QA1 lists a 3.75 in. narrower front track width, which opens up room for larger wheels and tires.
What to check before buying
Drop is listed at 3 in. to 5 in. with the stock-height spindles that ship in the kit, or 5 in. to 7 in. if you fit drop spindles instead; QA1 notes this adds roughly 150 lbs. less weight than a Crown Vic-based swap. No welding is called for.
What comes with it
The kit ships with a steel crossmember, stock-height cast iron spindles, tubular steel control arms in black, and tie rod ends, plus the mounting hardware for a bolt-on install.
Does it come with spindles? Yes, stock-height spindles are included; drop spindles for the deeper range are a separate purchase.
Is the control arm finish painted? No, QA1 lists the tubular steel control arms in a black finish.
