Details & Inspection Notes

This PUI D290C rear door panel set is built for a 1967 Chevy II/Nova SS two-door hardtop, sold as a pair.

Hardtop versus sedan

These panels are cut for the 2-door hardtop's window crank position, which sits slightly lower than on a 2-door sedan. If you need these on a sedan instead, the vinyl is not pre-cut for the crank hole, so you would cut that opening higher yourself to match the sedan's crank position.

Cutting the panel

The cardboard backing is perforated to make cutting openings easier, but the vinyl covering is not pre-cut, so plan on doing that cutting work as part of the install rather than expecting every opening to be ready-made.

Will these fit a 2-door sedan? They are cut for the hardtop's crank position; for a sedan, you would cut the opening higher yourself.

Is the vinyl pre-cut for the window crank? No, only the cardboard backing is perforated for cutting.

Is this one panel or a pair? Sold as a pair.

Performance Installation & Verification Checklist

  • Disconnect vehicle battery ground terminal before installing any electrical, sensor, or powertrain hardware.
  • Inspect all vacuum lines, fuel lines, and wiring harness connectors for secure, leak-free engagement.
  • Calibrate electronic sensors, boost control solenoids, and ECU maps according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Perform initial datalogging check under light load before subjecting vehicle to wide-open throttle.
