Verado-specific engineering

Noise is kept down by injector covers, a multi-chamber intake tuned for quiet running, and a cowl built to seal out sound, while the Advanced MidSection moves the engine mounts aft and outward against vibration. Steering and shifting run through SmartCraft's Digital Throttle and Shift system, electro-hydraulic and automotive in feel, for smooth gear changes and an immediate response at the lever. Because this is a V-8 Verado, it also gets Adaptive Speed Control, which holds a set RPM through changing load and conditions without the operator adjusting the throttle, plus Advanced Sound Control to toggle the dual-muffler exhaust between a quiet and a sportier tone.
