Details & Inspection Notes
This 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor is the Pro Series alcohol build made for GM 604 racing crate engines, running methanol only through a CNC-machined Ultra main body and Competition-grade metering blocks.
Pro Series hardware
- Aluminum construction throughout, including the fuel bowls, which use a -8 AN O-ring inlet for high flow
- Thinned throttle shafts, stainless blades, and a billet base plate
- Each unit is hand assembled and wet-flowed on a flow bench before it's approved to ship
- Mechanical secondaries, no choke, dual fuel inlet, ball-burnished finish
Specs to confirm before ordering
This carburetor needs a 5.160 x 5.625 inch bolt pattern, so check it against your intake first, and keep in mind it is tuned for alcohol fuel, which puts it in the 700-799 CFM range. It arrives new, includes gaskets, and uses a universal throttle linkage. Because alcohol carburetors flow more volume per horsepower than gasoline units, swapping a gas carburetor for this one without also adjusting jetting elsewhere in the fuel system usually isn't a workable shortcut.
Common questions
Can I run gasoline through this carburetor? No, it is built and calibrated for methanol only.
How does this compare to the Standard alcohol version? This Pro Series build adds the billet base plate and O-ring fuel inlet that the Standard version doesn't use.
Does it fit the same engines as a gasoline carburetor in this family? No, this one is sized and tuned specifically for GM 604 racing applications.
