Details & Inspection Notes
Built specifically for GM 602 racing crate engines, this new 4150-style four-barrel carburetor is rated at 650 CFM and designed for gasoline only, part of a Pro Series line featuring a custom CNC-machined Ultra main body paired with Competition Pro Series metering blocks.
Construction details
- High-capacity fuel bowls with a #8 O-ring fuel inlet
- Billet base plate with thinned throttle shafts and stainless blades
- Hand assembled, wet-flowed and dyno-tested before it leaves the shop
- Square-bore 4-barrel flange, mechanical secondaries, no choke, ball-burnished finish
Fit and fuel
Check the 5.160 by 5.625 inch bolt pattern against your intake before ordering. This carburetor sits in the 600-699 CFM range and runs on gasoline exclusively, never alcohol; it comes new with gaskets included and a universal throttle linkage for straightforward bolt-up to a GM 602 application. Because it's purpose-built for one engine family rather than a general-purpose carburetor, there's no tuning guesswork over which jets or metering blocks to start with; the factory calibration is already matched to a 602 combination.
Common questions
Will this work with methanol? No, this particular unit is built for gasoline only; a separate alcohol version exists for that fuel.
Does it ship with gaskets? Yes, gaskets are included.
Will it bolt straight on without modification? As long as your intake matches the square-bore, 4-barrel bolt pattern listed above, it should mount without extra fabrication.
