Details & Inspection Notes

This Firestone Dragster Cheater Slick, whitewall, sized 10.00-15, carries a 2.25 in. wide whitewall band and suits nostalgia drag builds, rat rods, and hot rods going for an early '60s-style dragster or gasser look.

Construction and approval

Like its blackwall counterpart, it keeps just enough tread siping to hold DOT approval while staying true to vintage drag-race styling, and it pairs with the Firestone Deluxe Champion bias-ply line up front for a matched set. The whitewall is built into the tire during construction rather than added after, and this same tread is also sold as a blackwall for a different look. Coker Tire casts it from new molds taken off the original Firestone drawings, using a four-ply polyester bias-ply casing, and it is made in the USA.

Measurements

  • Overall diameter: 30.20 in.
  • Tread width: 9.50 in.
  • Cross-section: 12.00 in.
  • Max load capacity: 1960 lb at 32 psi
  • Suggested rim width: 8.00-10.00 in.
  • Tube type: tubeless

Because the whitewall band on this tire is wider than on some vintage-style options, confirm it fits the look planned for the build, and pick a wheel inside the recommended rim range so the tire seats and wears correctly.

Performance Installation & Verification Checklist

  • Disconnect vehicle battery ground terminal before installing any electrical, sensor, or powertrain hardware.
  • Inspect all vacuum lines, fuel lines, and wiring harness connectors for secure, leak-free engagement.
  • Calibrate electronic sensors, boost control solenoids, and ECU maps according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Perform initial datalogging check under light load before subjecting vehicle to wide-open throttle.
