Falcon Transmission Kit for 1 Piece Rear Main Seal

This Falcon kit covers the full installation for Chevrolet Small Block engines built from 1986 onward with a 1-piece rear main seal, using the same direct-drive 2-speed gearbox as Falcon's stand-equipped version but bundled instead with a steel bellhousing, crank coupler, and hydraulic clutch line already boxed up.

What is built into the transmission

The integral hydraulic wet clutch again takes the place of a conventional clutch and pressure plate, running a 2.40:1 low gear into a direct-drive top gear. Falcon rates the kit to 600 lb-ft of torque with a roughly 900-horsepower ceiling; the aluminum case weighs approximately 45 pounds, spans 21-5/8 inches overall with a 14.525-inch tailshaft, and uses 18 splines on its 1.0625-inch input, stepping to 27 splines on a 1.1875-inch output, the same figures as Falcon's other 1-piece-seal transmission.

Why choose the kit over the stand version

Where the stand-equipped listing leaves the bellhousing and crank coupler as separate purchases, Falcon folds the steel bellhousing, the matching coupler, and a hydraulic clutch line into this kit along with the hardware to bolt it together, so fewer parts need sourcing before the transmission goes into the car; a shifter and driveshaft yoke still get purchased on their own.

Q: Does this still come with a transmission stand? A stand is not part of this particular kit, so plan separately if bench storage is needed.
