Edelbrock Small Block Chevy Dual Quad Set-Up

This Edelbrock Small Block Chevy Dual Quad Set-Up is a complete two-carburetor induction kit for the 1957-86 262-400 cubic inch small block Chevy, pairing two 500 cfm manual-choke Edelbrock carburetors with Edelbrock's unpolished C-26 dual-quad intake manifold.

What is in the kit

The manifold has a low profile intended to clear the hood on most vehicles and is said to work with HEI distributors without interference, with the kit tuned for roughly 1500-5000 rpm use and carb centers set at 6-7/16 in. An air cleaner is not included and will need to be added separately to finish the installation.

Before you order an air cleaner

Edelbrock lists clearance measurements from the intake's rear valley: about 3.433 in. down to the mounting surface, 6.640 in. up to the carb's ring mount, and 7.553 in. to the highest point on the carb throat, which is useful for checking hood clearance before picking an air cleaner. For reference against a few popular Edelbrock filter assemblies, clearance from the valley to the top of the filter runs about 9.753 in. for one assembly, 10.490 in. for another, and 11.489 in. for a taller one, so measure the engine bay before choosing which height works.
