Details & Inspection Notes

Edelbrock's 7107 RPM Air-Gap manifold brings a short-runner, tunnel-ram-style layout to small-block LT1 Gen II Chevy engines running EFI multi-port fuel injection, positioned as the next step up from a standard Performer RPM for LT1 owners.

The Air-Gap design

Edelbrock's patented Air-Gap construction separates the intake runners from the hot lifter valley below, which keeps the incoming air stream cooler and denser than a solid-floor manifold allows, and that denser charge is what delivers the extra output over a standard runner design.

Throttle body and fitment

This manifold is built to accept either a 52mm or a 58mm throttle body, so it is not locked to one bore size, and it also accepts both the early and late factory OEM LT1 throttle bodies and fuel rails without needing adapters. It is matched specifically to Edelbrock's #61905 and #61919 LT1 cylinder heads, so confirm those are the heads on your engine before ordering, since the runner geometry is designed around that port shape.

Who it suits

This is the right manifold for an LT1 Gen II small-block owner staying with EFI multi-port injection who wants more top-end output than the factory or base RPM intake provides, without switching to a carbureted or single-plane setup.

Startup & Installation Checklist

  • Inspect all external gaskets, seals, spark plugs and timing components prior to installation.
  • Refill engine oil, transmission gear oil and coolant to manufacturer-specified capacities before initial cranking.
  • Prime the lubrication system and verify ECU wiring pinouts, sensors, and ground connections.
  • Our 2-year warranty covers internal lubricated components, cylinder heads and engine block from delivery, in addition to your statutory rights.
