Details & Inspection Notes

IMCA-issued bolts seal this CT350 "602 crate" for approved competition, with the camshaft and pistons broken in and verified on a dyno before it ever leaves the shop. Horsepower lands at 350, arriving by 5,000 rpm, and torque peaks around 390 lb-ft near 3,800 rpm.

What arrives already mounted

A high-rise, dual-plane aluminum intake manifold sits on top, with an HEI distributor, spark plugs and wires, steel valve covers carrying the Chevy Bowtie logo with breathers, an 8-quart single kick-out oil pan, and an 8-inch harmonic balancer all in place, along with the front timing cover. This engine tips the scale at 434 lbs as delivered. A flywheel and water pump are not part of the package, so budget those into your build alongside whatever fuel system you plan to run.

Why the dyno step matters

Lash and timing are individually tuned rather than left at a generic setting, so the engine is ready to race straight out of the crate without additional break-in on your part. This "602" fits a wide range of weekly-racing classes, among them Hobby Stock and Street Stock, though checking your own track's rules for the correct application is still on you before you commit to a class.

Q: Does it include a water pump or flywheel? No, neither is included; both need to be sourced separately to finish the install.

Q: Does the dressed package include ignition components? Yes, the HEI distributor, spark plugs, and plug wires all ship installed and ready to fire.
