This fully dressed, fuel-injected 383 pairs a Holley Sniper EFI system with a complete front accessory drive, so brackets for the alternator, the air-conditioning compressor, and the power-steering pump are already in place around the familiar 436-horsepower, 443-pound-foot output.
What's on the engine
- Holley Sniper EFI on a satin aluminum intake manifold, fired by an HEI distributor
- Spark plugs and spark plug wires already routed
- Long-style water pump, harmonic balancer, oil pan, valve covers, and timing cover installed
- Front accessory drive bringing the alternator, the air-conditioning compressor, and the power-steering pump along (does not fit Corvette)
The architecture underneath matches BluePrint's broader 383 family: a new cast iron block, four bolts per main cap, a cast steel crank, hypereutectic pistons, and aluminum heads over the roller cam, with valves sized at 2.02 inches on the intake side and 1.60 on the exhaust, over 64cc chambers.
What's excluded
The flexplate, flywheel, computer, and wiring harness are not part of this package, so plan to source those to match your own transmission and ignition setup. It's not intended for pollution-controlled vehicles. BluePrint's own guidance calls for a high-zinc break-in oil through the first 500 miles, switching to a high-performance synthetic afterward, and this engine carries 30 months or 50,000 miles of coverage.
Will this work with my stock accessories? No; it comes with its own front accessory drive, so the factory A/C and power-steering brackets won't carry over to this swap.
